Owner's will be expected to provide proof of vaccination and prevention for the following diseases:

• DHLPP-CV & Distemper
• BORDETELLA
• RABIES
• LIME VACCINE - For Dogs Traveling on The Summer Trip
• Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, Parainfluenza, Parvo & Corona Virus
• HEARTWORM
• Flea & Tick PREVENTION
• Canine Influenza

If my dog is injured, what veterinary hospital will it be taken too?

Occasionally, one of the team is injured or becomes ill and the services of a good vet are needed. Welch Veterinary Hospital in La Grange, Texas or Bemidji Veterinary Hospital in Bemidji, MN are where I turn for help in such an instance.

How is Heartworm Prevention managed at Stellar Retrievers?

Keeping the crew healthy is all about prevention. Each dog is administered an Ivermectin based heartworm prophylaxis each month. In addition, every effort is made to minimize and control mosquitoes since heartworm larvae are transmitted to dogs via this pest. We also administer Flee & Tick preventative to each dog monthly.
